Welcome! I am a graduate student in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Maryland, College Park. My research interests are in mathematical problems arising in quantum information science. In particular, I am interested in quantum algorithms, topological quantum computation (TQC), and topological phases of matter (TPM).

The slogan Pure × Applied captures my philosophy in approaching mathematics. I keep an open mind, and I am keen to learn new mathematical techniques to solve problems of interest to me.

There is no branch of mathematics, however abstract, which may not someday be applied to phenomena of the real world.” – Nikolai Lobachevsky

Jul 29, 2024 I will be attending the Algebraic Quantum Mechanics and Topological Phases of Matter workshop at CU Boulder from July 29 to August 2. I am excited to learn more about the operator algebraic approach to TQC and TPM.
Jul 15, 2024 I will be attending the Groundwork for Operator Algebras Lecture Series (GOALS ‘24) at IPAM, UCLA from July 15 to July 27 to further my goal of understanding the role played by operator algebras in TQC and TPM.
Jun 10, 2024 I will be virtually attending the Categorical Symmetries in Quantum Field Theory workshop at ICMS from June 10 to June 21. I am eager to learn about recent research in categorical symmetry and its relation to TQC and TPM.
